Your Perfect Match
Matching the right rubber compound to the right application is critical. Our
U.S.-based chemists determine your product's optimal physical properties, then
consult our proprietary compound database for a match. If one of our standard
recipes isn't a perfect match, we'll simply create one that is.
Our chemists:
- Develop a test recipe
- Mix test batches for lab testing
- Fine tune the recipe to meet all physical property requirements.
- Perform tensile, elongation, tear, compression set, heat aging, ozone, MDR,
hardness and di-electric strength tests in house (other tests are outsourced to
a certified laboratory ISO/IEC17025)
- Complete a production trial run to confirm production feasibility
- Complete production repeatability trials to ensure consistency over multiple
runs
Sure -- it might be more profitable for us to simply order pre-mixed rubber
compounds from a supplier, but we couldn't guarantee batch-to-batch
repeatability. Or control purity. Or even guarantee availability. So we decided
to mix our own compounds, and build a lab so we could test them in-house. That
way, we always know what we're working with. So do you.
